Corey Blake consults artists, film projects and businesses in Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta and New York. After founding Elevation 9000 Films in 2000 he and two
other members of E9K headed the Elevation 9000 Film Lab that developed fifteen scripts over five months culminating in the
shooting of eight short films, including the award-winning Gretchen Brettschneider Skirts Thirty (Grand Jury Prize San Diego
Film Festival, 2003). Corey is currently directing a documentary for The Make A Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles. Elevation 9000 Films and 1421 Productions are developing the film The Christmas Letter,
with Mark Thompson of the Mark and Brian Radio Program in Los Angeles that Corey will direct. They
are also developing The Shack with Zachary Levi of ABCs Less Than Perfect.
Corey has worked professionally as an actor since 1999. He has been the face of major national campaigns for Miller
Light, American Express, Pepsi, McDonalds, Mountain Dew, Hasbro, SBC, Mitsubishi, and Wrigleys Gum. He also starred in the
Addy, Belding and Bronze Lion award-winning spot for Yard Fitness (see demo). Corey has appeared on Fastlane, The Shield,
Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Diagnosis Murder, G vs. E, and Sabrina. He executive produced and costarred in The Boy Scout and
Gretchen Brettschneider Skirts Thirty, a film he directed. E9K specializes in producing highly stylized film projects, public
relations for films, and project development.
